This week, I escaped from the ordinary and hopped on the Metro North train from New Haven into Grand Central in Manhattan.
My objective was to attend a taping of the new Lifestyle TV Show – The Revolution and have some fun and catchup with a dear friend. We had a blast at the show and enjoyed the energy of the guests as we sat in the audience.
The surprise announcement was guest host, the beautiful and talented Toni Braxton. Toni looks absolutely gorgeous in real life.

Here comes the bride… Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. As you prepare for your big day, set aside some time to plan a romantic honeymoon. Sam and I said ‘I do’, B.I. (before internet) in 1990. The photo on the left is one of my favorite honeymoon pixs. It was taken about 4 days after we tied the knot.  We honeymooned aboard NCL’s Seaward. Every year, we always take time to celebrate our anniversary and it usually involves travel.Â
One of the honeymoon all inclusive resorts I highly recommend is Sandals Whitehouse. Sandals certainly knows how to treat couples in love.  Upon arrival at the Montego Bay airport, and after clearing customs, you’ll be met by a Sandal’s representative. At this time, they will confirm the resort you’re staying at. Then you can enjoy the lounge. Be warned, it’s very brief. It’s just enough time to grab a quick snack and hit the restroom before the 90 minute drive.Â
Soon after, your name will be called and you’ll be on your way. They will arrange for a skycap to take your luggage to the vehicle. Keep in mind the skycaps and drivers are not employees of Sandals and more than likely, they will expect you to tip them.  Yea mon! Irie.
We stayed at this resort and can highly recommend it. It is one of the newer resorts in Jamaica. It offers seclusion, luxury, a wonderful atmosphere and a view of 2 of my favorite things — water and mountains. The employees at all the Sandals resorts will make you feel like royalty. Just remember that common courtesy goes a long way, especially when traveling. If you’re in the planning stages and haven’t commited to a wedding at home, perhaps consider a destination wedding and get married at any of the resorts. Visit www.Sandals.com for more information to plan the wedding and/or honeymoon you’ve always wanted and enjoy the romance of any of the honeymoon all inclusive resorts.
